Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies for session management (to keep you logged in), dark mode preferences, and analytics (Matomo cookies: _pk_id, _pk_ses). You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Provide app functionality, such as user accounts, session tracking, and breathing exercise logs.
Send transactional emails (e.g., email verification, subscription confirmations) via MailerSend.
Analyze usage patterns to improve the app (via Matomo analytics).

User data (name, email, hashed password) is stored in MongoDB Atlas, a cloud database with encryption.
Analytics data is stored on our self-hosted Matomo instance.
We use HTTPS to encrypt data in transit, and passwords are hashed using bcrypt.
Data is retained as long as your account exists or as needed for analytics purposes (up to 12 months for analytics data).
4. Third-Party Sharing
We use the following third-party services:
MongoDB Atlas: For storing user data.
MailerSend: For sending transactional emails (e.g., verification emails).
Stripe: For processing premium subscription payments securely.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
